kay i've been meaning to post this for like, ever. annnd i've finally got around to it. i had my portfolio review monday, and my review said that my portfolio would most likely be accepted :D!!!!! *flail!*

kay, so.

twice now i've woken up late at night, absolutely convinced it is the afternoon.

even though it's dark.

even though all the clocks say it's am and not pm.

apparently my internal clock is trying to tell me something...?

yay. i'll be adding more, since i haven't even done the video game part yet...
 

oh god i haven't posted here for like... ever. i kind of have interesting things to talk about but yet i never blog. eh.

anyway, i've been working a lot on my portfolio since i have an appointment/portfolio review with ccad.edu on nov. 7th. *FLAILOMG*

the majority of my portfolio is done, i got my photographs printed, i picked out my illustrations, now i just need to work on a dress i'm doing for my portfolio and take/print pictures. all before the 7th. kdjkfgjgaw

I also got re-addicted to maplestory. *headdesk* although i'm starting to run out of things to dooo...

uhm. that's it really. god, i really need a life.

 

kay so this month has been pretty damn awesome so far. onto the lists.

stuffs that happened:

- Visual Arts day at the local art college ( which i hope to attend ). that was really awesome, super excited about college now. (remind me of that when i'm whining about college)
- Five day fashion design class. That was awesome as well, my teacher was super cool and let me show her my sketchbooks and clothes i've made. (which thoroughly freaked me out beforehand since no one besides family & friends have seen my stuff) She gave me tips on illustration and what to include in my portfolio.
- Cirque du Soleil! that was really cool as well- if you ever have a chance to go to a show, GO.
- PROJECT RUNWAY *FLAIL* bout time, damnit. I'm totally rooting for Althea, since she's from nearby. And i like her.
- AMERICAN IDOL TOUR HOLY CRAP. that was last night, and all i have to say is that adam is fscking AMAZING. everytime they showed him on the screen (before he even sang) everyone was going crazy. wish i'd of stuck around after the show though. :\

- became re-obsessed with the Jak games and therefore have been lazy and unproductive.
- got this weirdo allergy sinus attack thing, ICK. do not want
- finally bought a new flat iron
- also bought an external harddrive. now i can download stuff to my heart's content. :D

things happening in august:

- Open house day at my college of choice.
- Summer fashion design class. I'M NERVOUS.
-State fair. YES FUNNEL CAKE TIME.
- Cirque du Soleil Saltimbanco show.
- Project Runway starts.
- American Idols Live Tour. (YAY ADAM *FLAIL*)

underwear/bras/socks etc.
cleanser/toner
new converse (either purple hi-tops or turquoise low-tops)
new flat iron
external harddrive (before my internal one explodes from me overfilling it)

to do list:

- finish playing all the Jak games so i can actually do something productive.
- finish up random school shizz
- read more
-  draw more
- post pictures of newest dresses (I SWEAR i'll get around to this eventually)
- get new icons, i'm so bored with mine

i turned seventeen. bleh.
I went to an art festival and wished i had a couple hundred dollars to spare.
i pigged out on red velvet cake. so much for eating better.
getting a hair cut towards the end of the month.

- practice teaching myself how to draw (... that's not going that well...)
- sew more stuff.
- start my art planner journal.
- write blogs more often, even if i have nothing good to talk about.
- take pictures more often.
- organize my clothes...

things i need to buy:

- new undergarments/socks (heh.)
- more scarves/headbands/earrings
- barnes and noble membership
- new chucks. (purple, preferably)

 

okay, i lied about not being dead- i sort of am. I JUST HAVE NOTHING TO TALK ABOUT D:

BUT.

I totally sewed something. ... and completed it!





... oh yeah, i got a dressform too btw.
